Staying Safe and Well

Your Mental Health is our Priority

The stress response is critical to our survival. Nowadays most of us won’t encounter a life-or-death threat all that often but we do experience stress reactions in response to thoughts, emotions, or physical sensations, particularly if you are in a caring situation. Social distancing and self- isolation are crucial to help us reduce the spread of the COVID-19 virus but for many carers, these necessary actions will have created a very different set of challenges.

Being at home all day, every day with little or no way of getting any respite, for many carers will be very challenging and may result in an increase in stress.

This page has been created to help you deal with those challenges. We will be adding more information as time goes on, please use it as much as you can. If you need to talk to someone you can call us on 0141-941-1550
