Services - Support Groups
Carers’ Book Group
Carers meet regularly to choose a book to read at home and then meet to discuss their views on the book. The group aims to expand the carer’s choice of reading, enter into stimulating discussions and have fun at the same time.
Meetings are held on the last Monday of each month between 3pm – 5p.m. at Dalmuir Library.
Craft Group
The group brings together carers who wish to share their skills and creativity. It provides an opportunity for carers to further develop their skills, socialise with other carers as well as accessing support. To date, the group has enjoyed card making, jewellery making and knitting.
The group meets every Thursday between 10am – 12:30pm at Clydebank Library.
Yoga
An opportunity to relax with some meditation and yoga. Suitable for all fitness levels. Takes place via Zoom with our yoga instructor, Claire McGinley. Before joining the class, we ask carers to complete a medical questionnaire.
Our online yoga class is on every Thursday 11am – 12pm.
Growing with Care
Join our carers gardening group tending to our raised bed at Melfort Park, Clydebank. Learn new skills, enjoy the fresh air and meet some new friends along the way. Facilitated by our volunteers.
The Growing with Care group generally meets every Friday at Melfort Park.
Mindfulness Group
Join Karen for a group mindfulness session each month. Enjoy guided meditation, and learn relaxation skills and stress reduction techniques.
Sessions are held on the first Monday of every month, from 10:30am – 11:30am via Zoom.
